as i listen to more and more gd from later period, specifically after jerry empoloyed the use of his midi, i find myself feeling differently about some tunes which he uses it. my question is what are your favorite tunes that changed with the use of the midi. just a song that he consitently used it is suffice or a particular version with date would be grate. thank you all.

Listening to a nice Shakedown now with a very cool midi bit in it from 90-06-17. This shows' a smoker so there may be more highlights to come.
Hold On skip right to the Bird Song for True midi-Bliss starting second set now so maybe more to come.
Oh yea this is what I was trying to get at. The Lovelight here features some very nice midi that is another great example of where it enhances the song nicely.

The Dark Star from 10/26/89 has a whole lot of MIDI going on. It's fucking insane.

Yes I feel this way also about the midi Experiment and there are some definate favorites and other where it didn't really work. Favorite: Women are Smarter. Totally revived this tune for me and took it to new heights. Didn't really like it much in Scarlet-Fire but appreciated the effort to try to go explore there. Listen to 2-26-90 for a great example of this. The weird thing about the whole midi thing was that just when they seemed to be getting somewhere with it they mostly gave up really trying to go there after Brent died.
